Group B Output Devices

As a group assignment, we were required to check the power consumed by our output device. For this, we checked the power across the servo motor. This is how is was connected to the power supply:

Using the formula P=V*I we calculate that the power consumption.

In idle state:

P = 5V X 0.042A = 0.168 Watts

In active state:

P = 5V X 0.164A = 0.82 Watts
