For the project development week, there are some important questions that need to be disussed:
- what is the deadline? How much time do I have left?
- MY Final project is almost complete, I will finalize it before the date for final presentations, 13 June 2018.
- what tasks have been completed, and what tasks remain?
- 3D printed parts for base and top are ready and RGB Leds are fixed in the base
- As far as electronics part is concerned, I have made ready the Leonardo board for controling the Lixie
- The Laser cut acrylic segments are done
- The Lixie Digits are ready
- I have completed the programming and displayed the numbers from 0 to 9 on the Lixie Digit
- I have to connect the two Lixie Digits together and display the numbers on both of the Lixies
- I have made a Lixie which will act as a 3D GIf , I have just to fix the acrylics in the base and program it
- First, I didn't include any input device in my final project, but now I have made a temperature sensor and I need to take its readings and display on Lixie digits
- what has worked? what hasn't?
- The Lixie Digit is displaying the numbers properly from 0 to 9 on the segments
- The programme is working as desired
- The 3D printed parts and Acrylic designs fit very well and accurately
- Interfacing the input device( a Temperature sensor) with my Lixie Digit

- what have you learned?
- 3D Modeling, and the software that I like the most is the parametric software - Solidworks
- 3D Printing and Laser cut- this was like first time for me working on these machines
- I was really not good at making PCB , but now I can do it better and solder the SMD components in
- The idea of MAchines making machines was really wonderful , and we should make more projects keeping this useful conept in mind.
- I liked to work on molding and casting also, it's really a useful way to fabriate things , but one needs to learn it properly.
- In ddition to this, working with the BIG machines- Shopbot for CNC was a bit tough job but interesting too.

I have almost done my final project, but I need to find the solution of the issue that irritated me the most while working on my final project. I tried making several PCBs with WS2812B LEDS but htey were not glowing properly , because of the critical timing issue in the LEDs , the data was not being latched properly , so after so many trials I moved to the alternatives. But, I will solve it later for sure, because no one else has figured it , I almost searched the whole internet about this issue.I hope I will resolve it soon agyer the final project presentation..

The journey of Fab Acadmey has been full of learning , from the first day till the last day of course. It was the first time that I was doing so much hands on practie on almost all the core engineering related stuff ; following are the modules that i Learnt and I am sure that with further practice I will gain expertise on these skills.
I am really glad that I joined this Fabacademy curse, which is all about Learning and MAking ALmost Anything
