I made a little construction kit with the laser. Designed the pieces to have 3 connectors that have 5mm openings to use our mdf of that thickness. I started out with a circle, added all the pieces I needed, (by rotating 120 degrees) did some deformations, and eventually some boolean operations to create the final piece.
