Computer-Aided Design
The Academy give us a lot of suggestions on computer-aided design tools.
I work with the graphic editor Inkscape to draw the first sketches, and Gimp to escalate and export to a correct and accepted Academy Archive format all the images of my website.
About 3D design software, I installed Blender and Rhino, I used for some assignments, but finally I decided to work with Solid Works, a really useful tool with which you can make assemblies of several parts, import files from predesigned objects (such as engines) and even run simulations.

Exploring the posibilities of Blender as a 3D designer tool. Maybe with the MakeHuman plugin I can draw a more realistic hands.
