For this assignment I decided to design and build a clock using fiberglass.First design it in Rhino, then I did some renders to display the finish.

After that,i machined in the shopbot the negative shape with 3 boards glued

The idea is to use this as a template machined to copy the form with fiberglass and resin the designed geometry.

First seal the pores of the wood with lacquer sealer.

After 3 coats of lacquer, i used wax release agent for the resin does not stick to the surface.

After several hours of waiting the epoxy resin still- dry , apparently the quantity  of catalyst was not correct, the weather did not help today , the next test will be with polyester resin, to be continued ...
