Applications and implications

what will it do?

The project is to create a puzzle for programming, where parts will be created to build the scheduling algorithm and a small robot
to be controlled based on the algorithm.

who's done what beforehand?

I was thinking this Project for childrens from 3 to 7 years old. I inspired in “scratch” programing software, for teach programing
to childrens
Is not be exactly like a complexity of scratch but I was thinking for child can learn to use algorithm of programing, without a
computer and in didactic mode.

what materials and components will be required?

- Micro-Servo motors
- Ultrasonic sensor HC-SR04
- Electronic components (microcontrollers, resistors, capacitors, leds, buttons etc.)
- MDF
- PLA
-Bluetooth
-Batteries

where will they come from?

The Bluetooth will be find it out the fab lab, and the rest of the materials and all the process of fabrication
will be made in the fab lab.

how much will it cost?

It can cost be around $100-$120

what parts and systems will be made?

Main structure of puzzle
Programing pieces
Electronic assembly
Communication between the robot and programing puzzle

what processes will be used?

Laser cutting
3D printing
Electronic production
Embedded programing

what tasks need to be completed?

Design 3D models
Design electronic circuit
Research the method of assembly of the pieces and the communication with the main structure

what questions need to be answered?

how to communicate the programing blocks and the main structure , to receive commands like... if,else or variables

what is the schedule?

26th-may to 30th may CAD Design and fabrication
31th may to 3rd june electronic design and embedded programing

how will it be evaluated?

The little robot should receive the instructions from the main structure of the puzzle, and depending of the instructions the robot
should walking left , right , sensing the distance, put ON the leds or make a sound
