This page will document the progression of my design ideas, physical models and relevant information concerning my Final Project.Rinse Tub for 3D Printer Trays
The Stratys 3D printer that we use in our lab lays a bed of support material onto the trays for every print job. This process ultimately leads to trays that cannot be reused easily. I hope to develop a system that meets the following criteria:
- Illiminate the need for mechanical removal of support material
- Maintain integritry of the tray
- Avoid caustic chemicals that may damage the printer
- Save money, time and materials
