My ideia is to develop and prototipe a Parametric and Modular Small Parts Storage.
Why? To inventory all the small parts in a Fab Lab or Makerspace in Brazil we have a problem with parts, mainly SMD (Surface-Mount Device) eletronic parts, so for that kind of parts we have to have them stocked and also to use the makerspace not only as a machine shop but also where you can have the parts do use the machines, is fun to have a motorcycle but if you have no gas to run it is a lot less fun. I know that this scare the "Tire kicker" (thanks for the expression Larry) but also scare somebody that could do something amazing.
Also it is nice to have a parametric/modular model so we can use all the space available in the a small space or to have everything in a bins tha are the perfect size.

THIS PROJECT HAS BEEN CANCELATED!!! (03/05/2015)
It is a support for the camera and a surface where you can work and have a good workflow.
The Documentation Rig is an idea to do something like a version control + tutorials about real things. For me is very difficult, once i'm in the Flow of producing something, to stop and take pictures or video of my work
Also it is nice to have a table or surface that you need to keep clean so you can work and focus.

Here's a link that inspired me:
Why i gave up on this project? The answer is simple, smartphone with a good camera and the will to document. That's all you need for a good documentation, for a great documentatio of course you can use a rig but for that you can use a good camera, lights and tripods and depending on what project you will document that is more flexible than a rig!
