CLASS WEB PAGE:
Principles and Practices
- Project Management
During the first week of the Fab Academy we were asked to make a personal webpage and present an idea for our final project.
First of all, I had to learn html5, for documentation and follow-up purposes.
I made this webpage using the open source Sublime Text Editor. Then I had uploaded it in the Academy Archive on a Github Repository via terminal loading with Linux system.
I got this result referring to tutorials on www.3wschools.com and www.html.it.
In the home of my webpage you can see all necessary informations. On the top there is the NavBar with the sections that I felt essential:
-Fab Lab Frosinone, the place where I attend the Fab Academy 2015
-Methodology, the process to perform the Fab Academy
-Project, the section where I introduce my Final Project work
-Schedules, the area with the documentation of all weekly assignments
-About, a little presentation who I am
Clicking on each of them the page scrolls to the desidered point.
On the cover I put two important informations:
-FAB ACADEMY 2015 so you can go in the page and see what is it
-E_MOTION, my Final Project

HTML.IT
Starts so was really exciting to me. I think that is very interesting works with code and I like it.
I learned another way to use PC with the Konsole of Ubuntu and I'm satisfied of my results!
The idea of my Final Project is a wearable controller system to help monitoring the right posture during sports activities. Monitoring will take place through sensors that notify the error with a vibration when the body is out of position. So it would be possible improve physical performance and take care of health avoiding chronics pains or long-term damages.

DIGITAL PROCESS TO CREATE CLOTHES
To create the garment for the project I can follow the so-called Digital Tailoring Process through the following steps:
-Body Scan
-Digital Draping
-Digital Patterning
-Costruction
-Print Cut and Stitch
This process help me to create clothes designed and patterned specifically for a determinate body avoiding measurements and sizes.
