After this first proptotype, according with Daniele, we decided to work on two different kind of drone: he continue working on the development of the AAVOID while I start working on another type of drone, focusing on the physical structure, trying to incorporating as many digital fabrication processes as possible.

In fact, my goal is try to use what i learned during this FabAcademy to realize a working prototype of a drone.

Here is a list of the content and processes that i would like to be involved, and fo what purpose:

• Computer-aided design: drawing the drone's structure and parts;
• Computer-controlled cutting: laser cutting the part for the drone's frame;
• Electronics design: design the flight controller board;
• Electronics production: realize the flight controller board;
• 3D printing: realize some parts of the drone (foots, battery slot,..);
• Computer-controlled machining: realize an external protection structure, milling the polystyrene;
• Input/Output devices: using the IMU 10DOF which includes accelerometer, gyroscope and magnetometer;
• Composites: realize a solid frame for the drone using composite materials;

In this way i hope, as well demonstrate what i have learned during this months, to give people the idea of the infinite possibilities and application of digital fabrication.
