Software

Fab Lab Network software

In order to use the machines at the Fab Lab we all use the Fab Modules software by Neil Gershenfeld. Make sure you install them

2D & 3D Graphics

For the assigments students will use a lot of different software packages, some of them are essential:

• Inkscape
• OpenSCAD
• FreeCAD

Electronics

Video Conferencing

All Fab Academy lesson are streamed using the MIT CBA MCU (Multipoint Conference Unit). In order to access it you need to register and download the Jabber Video Conferencing software.
