I tried to use Inkspace and Illustrator. Inkspace is a nice app, but it is difficult to lern how to use it becouse User interface is totlally defferent from Illustrator.
3D
I have tried 123D,DesignSpark Mechanical,Rhinoceros,I would soon like to try Smoothie-3D. DesignSpark has a interesting function and business model. It can import the data of electronic components that are sold in RSsomponents for the model.
model for final project
I designed a box in that the thermal printer will fit. First,I checked the size of printer from document.
and I modeled with rhino.
Then I composed picture of printer and render image in photoshop.
