In this week I decided to design something that can help with things that I deal with them daily.
Arrangements :)
We all have out stuff that we want to put in a nice order but somehow we always put all the things in the same place or in the same drawer,
and when lately I want to buy new furniture to my work room I found out that even IKEA doesn't have the solution that I need...
So I decided to start design and make it by myself and in this week I made a small idea with cardboard and at the end when I will have the all design I will do it at wood.
My first move was to use sketchup, it perfect for furniture design and simple to work with.
I used component at sketchup - it help to effect same part at the whole design ans save me time.
After finishing design I export the file as SVG.
At Sketchup 2013 there is a nice plug in that you can download here.
but at Sketchup 2015 it doesn't work so until I will find solution I will save the file as 2013 and export it with the SVG plugin.
Then I use Inkscape to order the design for cutting and save it as DXF file for cut.
Files will be shared later when I will approve some jointers
