For this week assignment we were tasked with 3D design,3D print and scanned an object.So i decided to 3D design a model of flower vase with Rhino, 3D printed my design with the 3D printer and scanned three pin socket with the the Modella as shown below.

Below is the 3D designed object.In this i transfered my design in inform of STL file then i connected the 3D printer to the computer then i followed instuctions i had read on how to use a 3D printer and managed the process.

3D printing with 3D printer as shown below.You can see the mesh i started with at th base of the object.Those era just but to hold the odject firmly in the process of printing.

3D scanning an object with a modella as shown below.For this process i just connected the moedella to the computer then i run a software called DR.PICZA and once it was through i placed the 3 pin socket on the modella as shown and then i chose working area on software then i click on scan.The process took an hour.
