Am Paul from Nairobi, Kenya.My final project is about a standalone home alarm system.My project covered electronics design,input and output devices ,electronics production,3D printing mechanical design(it has a push button),embedded programming computer aided design.

The project cost 11USD

.

I intent to apply for license from the government so as i can produce mass production of the same

.

I plan to do more research on it and participate in exihibitions and make it open source software

.

I designed the schematic diagram with Eagle as usual as shown below

PARTS LIST:motion sensor,PCB voltage regulator(7805),transistor Tip 122,buzzer,jumper wires,ordinary diodes,1k and 1ok resisistor,Attiny 44 microtroller, solder wire,20 microfarad capacitor,programmer and PC.

I design the cover or the discase with rhino as shown below

I 3D printed above alarm discase with 3D printer as usual

Here is the stand alone alarm with everything inside.The board encloses alarm board,9v battery to power the system.The alarm detects a motion through an inbuilt motion sensor and gives out a siren.This alarm can be used in home to prevent intruders in homes
