Something 3D
For scanning and then 3d print a small model, i used PrimeSense 
scanner and Reconstruct me software and used Rhino to reconstruct and patch the model
first, attach the primesense to a tripod, to ensure the scanner won't move. then start scanning, it is better if the object (on this case it was me) will be placed on a swivel chair, and a 3rd person will turn you around very slowly.

it seems that the model has no bottom part, because the scanner didn't reach there
to fix that, i used in rhino the "mesh edit tools>>fill holes

I used "Cura" 
to generate a gcode for 3d printing.

i uploaded the gcode and started printing. the 3D printer is "Something 3D"
material: PLA
Heating temerture: 210 deg. celsius
resolution: the model is too rough. my nose needed more support material.

A different approach i used, was creating a grasshopper code.
i created a USB cover dall. the dall's ears/eyes/head can change by selection.
on rhino i created a permanent body with USB holes. and created different types of ears to choose from.
גישה שונה שהשתמשתי בה, הייתה בניית קוד גרסהופר.
תכננתי כיסוי יו.אס.בי. בצורת בובה. עיניים/אזניים וראש הבובה יכולים להשתנות עפ,י בחירה.
בריינו בניתי גוף בעל חור המותאם ליו אס בי וכן אזניים שונות לבחירה.
by using lists sets, on grasshopper, i was able to isolate each type of ears and head i want to use בעזרת שימוש בבחירה מתוך רשימה בגרסהופר הצלחתי לבודד את סוג האוזן והראש אותם אני רוצה לבחור.
i used brep wireframe to place the center of the eyes on the face השתמשתי ברשת על הפנים כדי למקם את מרכז העיניים במקום המדוייק בפנים
now using different sliders, i can change the dall כעת, בעזרת אפשרויות גלילה משתנות, ניתן לשנות את הבובה.
to generate the g-code for this model, i used slic3r

i uploaded the gcode and started printing. the 3D printer is still "Something 3D"
material: ABS
Heating temerture: 250 deg. celsius
resolution: the model is pretty smooth.
