Electronics Design (Week 6)
I used EagleCAD to design my board and did not experiment too much, as I had already failed to make the FabISP work.
I followed the instructions as listed on AS220. That really made things easier for me as a first time electronics experimenter.
As expected, the first board didnt work. I had soldered the wrong component. In place of Resonator, I had soldered a crystal :D
The second board works fine. However, I have made an error here too. The Button and Resistor are not connected with the third pin of t44A. I tried soldering the button, resistor and the third pin with a wire, but ruined the IC.
I gathered all my patience, milled and stuffed the board for the third time, and this time it worked !
My Echo Hello-World Board is now ready to be programmed.
(P.S. Loved working in EagleCAD)
