FINAL PROJECT

Project:

Design a mens or womens shoe.

Laser cut the pattern pieces.

Laser etch or perforate the leather in order to embed RGB LEDs.

Make a board to control the LEDs.

Program the board so that the color of the shoe can be controlled by the wearer.

I milled the traces on the Modela using the Fab Modules. Because of permission problems it was necessary to operate from Terminal in superuser mode. (sudo su).

I changed from a 1/64" bit to a 1/32" bit, and cut out the board.

I stuffed the board following the steps in the tutorial

I downloaded the software, programmed the board according to the instructions, and checked to see that the board showed up in the USB directory. I then wicked the solder off the soldered jumper and removed the 0 ohm resistor.
