@ Class 6 – Electronics Production

To a personal experience Electronics Production is a process to learn a husge set of things. It is not only how well one desings the ckt and routes. Right from electronic components, till packages and then till fabrication – the journey takes the person through a number of destinations that perhaps can not be experienced while learning theoretical part of electronics (though theory is of parallel importance... please note this not the usual experience vs. theory write-up...!)

Following depicts the current stage -
Assignment was to redraw Echo Hello World PCB.

Schematic in Eagle 6.4
1) Added LED, Capacitors to the crystal, A reset switch
2) Grid: 0.025 inch
3) libraries used: fab, supply2, led

Board file in Eagle 6.4
1) Grid: 0.0125 inch
2) Export Settings: Image, 500 dpi, full area, monochrome

Problem w.r.t. milling the ckt. -

1) Perhaps the slant tracks are not cleanly visible in the loaded image (is is just about the vie wresolution or does it affect the making of path?)
2) Perhaps I did not export the image well through Eagle (settings: 500 dpi, monochrome, area full)thee image that was exported using eagle,
3) Hence,
Yet to mill and place the components ...
1) It was a misunderstanding at my end. May be the frst point above is still valid, but it did not have any impact on the milling action. Fabmodules and Modela both do very well. So the board has been milled cleanly, without any changes done to the board file.

1) The milling took place cleanly.
2) It is visible in the image besides that while soldering I took out one of the tracks. This happened becuase a half-soldered crystal was being pulled out by me, without enough heat. So, the component came out along with the track.

This assignment, here, is incomplete, however, for the sensor system I have modified the same board, hence there it will be completed.
