‘The Graffiti-Cycle Project’ is an eco-friendly artifact that is intended to transform public spaces into creative and dynamic areas by digital art interventions.

This urban art device contains a lounge chair and a set of pedals that is connected to a multiplier gear box and a dynamo, that converts the kinetic power from your pedaling motions into electrical power. The generated energy is used to supply a digital projector that is attached to a mobile device, by which, through a sketch app, you can draw your own digital-graffiti to be projected onto facades or monuments. At the same time, the pedal axle is connected to a rotary encoder and a microcontroller, to switch individual RGB LEDs on or off, depending on the speed.
