As an artist the major part of my income doesn't arrive from work sales but from educational and community work.
During my work as an artist and teacher I have learned that the textile arts and crafts are can use as great communication tolls, practicing those disciplines by myself and encouraging and teaching other to practice it has taught me that they can be useful in developing creative thinking as vast variates for other skills and abilities, in the arts fields as well as other mental and intellectual fields.
In my work as teacher I have learn to use those disciplines as empowerment toll, while working with disadvantaged communities or individuals.
During fab-academy I have tried to create combination between technologies and traditional textile crafts.
In the near future my idea is to develop educational programs that involve electronic, coding, and digital fabrication and textile crafts.
In those programs to I would like encourage people who usually fear from technologies to practice and develop skills technologies require.
In the other hand hand I wish to bring the textile crafts to people who wouldn't normally practice it (for example during my work with in youth advancement programs, in conservative societies sometimes boys even if they wished weren't even aloud to attend the textile workshops).
By Combine technologies in my educational program I wish to reach more will enable me to reach vast audience and open new discussion with communities and individuals I already work with.
