Fab Academy

Electronics production

.

For this assignment, we did not had the electronic components. We did find some of the components but in different packaging, and so, Jorge and I fabricated 2 different PCB. The first was the same design found in fab academy web pages with components for superficial mount (SMD). The other we rerouted all the cables and changed the components to through holes packaging.

Since we had a lot of issues of supply, and I need to control several PWM for my final project, I decided top do the homeworks with PSOC (http://www.cypress.com/psoc/). And so, all the assignments from now on will be done with PSOC. The previous printed PCB was not finished.

Next, the schematic of the PSOC mainboard can be seen. In this board, the expansion panels, a voltage regulator and the programming port can be seen. Additionally, a port  (BEC) has been added for external voltage regulator, if needed.
