Computer-Controlled Cutting

This week we learned how to use the vinyl cutter and the laser cutter. As an assignment we were given the task of making a press-fit construction kit.

For the assignment I decided to make a kit to construct the Church of St. George (Bete Giyorgis), a church carved from solid red volcanic rock in the 12th century.  To do this, I used three types of shapes; base, wall and top.
