Computer-Controlled Cutting
Last week's assignments dealt with Computer-Aided Design and trying out myriad software packages.
This week, we are getting into the actual use of the equipment and learning how to not burn our labs down.
Assignment:
design and make a press-fit construction kit and use the laser to cut out the parts.
(self-imposed criteria... make a press-fit kit that will demonstrate the use of the laser cutter to the 150 Chem Lab students about to tour the FabLab.)
