About Me
My Story
Hello, my name is Deepu Krishnakumar. I am a Civil Engineer, graduated from NSS Engineering College under University of Calicut, Kerala, India. After graduating in Civil Engineering, I started my career in 2009 as a Junior Engineer at a consulting firm. Over the years, I have been fortunate to work on a variety of exciting design projects. After completing some major projects, I began to consider studying. That is when I was given the opportunity to work and study Interior Design with one of India’s leading interior contracting firm.
In 2015, I founded Shade Consultants and Engineers, a company that started as a simple interior design consultation service but has since grown to include curated factory-finished furniture and furnishings. This growth was achieved by working closely with skilled architects, interior designers, artisans and other professionals.
Despite my years of experience, my passion for design continues to grow. That’s why I established Deepukrishnakumar Design Studio, a dedicated space specializing in architectural consultancy. This studio is dedicated to helping clients bring their dream spaces to life, offering the expertise needed to make their spaces exquisite and truly worth every moment they spend in them.
As a maker at heart, I have always been driven by my passion for creation. Over the years, I have come to understand that my desire to make has only grown stronger with time. That’s why when I learned about the Fab Academy, a program designed to teach individuals how to make almost anything, I knew it was the perfect opportunity to nurture my passion and further develop my skills.

A happiness project that we envisioned. A few years ago, eight of us dreamed up and founded something called Artistic Factory, which eventually developed as a community.
Artistic factory is a community of artists and art lovers conspired for a common cause of social development through the medium of art. We as a community has come together to work towards a common goal to make a change. With a vision to change the way how people think and introducing them to a new perspective
