About me¶
Hi! I am Yusuke Takahashi. I am an IT engineer working for a chemical manufacturing company in Osaka, Japan.
I am also a hobbiest/personal maker and have been a member of Fab Lab Kitakagaya from its foundation.
Fab Lab Kitakagaya information¶
Fab Lab Kitakagaya has been open since 2013. It is one of older Fab Labs in Japan. It is located on the bay side of Osaka city.

My background¶
I was born in sixties. I have enjoyed model making from my childhood.
I studied philosophy when I was in college. Philosophy is “my way of life” since then. But I also have an interest in biology and computer science.
I have worked on flying objects with flapping wings (also known as ‘ornithopter’) for years. I have built and flew several model ornithopters.
I have learned digital fablication skills in Fab Lab Kitakagaya and have applied the knowledge to my projects.
