The Fab Charter

The Fab Charter outlines the function and purpose of the Fab Labs, as well as the responsibilities of those who use them. The Fab Labs are a network of individual labs around the world. They are available to groups, businesses, and individuals. All those using a Fab Lab are expected to use all necessary safety precautions while working in the lab, in addition to documenting their work, sharing their knowledge, and keeping the lab clean and functional. Individual labs provide users with machines and materials, while the Fab Lab network offers logistical, educational, and technical assistance.
