Individual assignment:
1. Design and produce something with a digital fabrication process (incorporating computer-aided design and manufacturing) not covered in another assignment, documenting the requirements that your assignment meets, and including everything necessary to reproduce it.



Digital Embroidery


For this week I decided to design something using digital sewing machine

I choose image from this link

Then I launch Digitizer V5 Embroidery program then I select the size of hoop "FA10" & import the image and resize it to fit the hoop

Now to transfer it to embroidering there are many types I chose the simple embroidering outline option by clicking on Auto digitize > Click to Outline

so the stitch will be on the outer line of the image

Then select the unwanted stitch of the image & delete it. I deleted the image box stitch

Then choose the stitch type from object properties

Then from the Resequence section delete unwanted objects such as the original image

This should be the final result a simple embroidering

Save as (.EMB) in a removable drive

Using Horizon Quilt Maker Memory Craft 15000 machine for the digital embroidering then prepare the cloth & threads, I choose the following colors black cloth & white thread.

insert the drive & choose the design then press Start/Stop on the machine to start embroider.

The final result was successful a neat embroidering
