for this week i started by thinking of what to make, which is the hardeest part. i decided to design a bench
then i began designing the main shapes using fusion 360
i cut the design using the laser cut machine to test the outcome and check if the pieces work together
the next step is to test the kerf in the shopbot machine to get the best results for inserts. i tried 17, 18, 19 mm
the best result was 18mm
