Fun stuff

I'm Jonny and I live in Brighton (pictured above), on the south coast of the UK. I live with my partner Cicely and our fluffy cat Sunny. I love to spend time outdoors, ideally in the sea, kitesurfing, surfing or kayaking.

Work stuff

I graduated from Manchester Uni in 2003 with a degree in Economics. I started a company selling sustainably caught seafood which I sold in 2009. I started a new company with my best friend from Uni, selling fitness equipment for home-use in the UK. (www.jtxfitness.com). The business is successful but I've become a little bored. Spending your life trying to sell things to people, it has really lost the appeal for me. I'm looking for some greater meaning to my future worklife.

Fab Academy

After a 4 hour life-coaching exercise in 2019, I decided to pursue my childhood dream of being an inventor. It took some time but I have now become a silent partner in my company and I'm dedicating my time to learning how to make things. My hope for Fab Academy is that I can learn the broad skillset of making things. It sounds cheesy but I'd really like to invent something that makes the world a little better.
