3. Computer Aided design¶
model (raster, vector, 2D, 3D, render, animate, simulate, …) a possible final project, compress your images and videos, and post it on your class page.
2D Design¶
raster
- Photoshop For students who are not good at it, I think the wiring diagrams in the electronic circuit section are good because the illustrations are easy to understand.

Practice Photoshop I added text.
I don’t know where I touched, but it’s patterned. It’s interesting, I’d like to examine it and use it properly.
Vector
I want to make a kit that allows students to use guitar templates to make non-toy guitars that they think are cool. I need to select a part to be cut out by the laser cutter from a PDF template, but I don’t know how to do it.
3D Design¶
At a local session, I will try 3D modeling by measuring Lego bricks with calipers. It will be useful for future projects when I fit the electronic components into my work.
Draw a square in the sketch, extrude it, and draw one projection circle, then enter the number of projections in the rectangler pattern and make copies on the left, right, top, and bottom.

Quickly create screenshots of a selected region, window or fullscreen; you can even capture complete (scrolling) web pages from Internet Explorer.

There are so many websites that I should look at that it’s hard to know where to start.
I decided to start by searching the FABLAB Kamakura graduates page and the Fab Academy top page to see their electric guitar works.
Watching the video of Wednesday’s class after the local session helped me understand more. I’m still trying to figure out what’s important to write in the documentation.
It’s hard to put into words the ideas and images that are in my head.
I want to create a project that is connected in my mind to everyday events, but it is difficult to explain.
I’m not good at summarizing.
