Welcome to the website I have initiated for the Fab Academy course I have followed in 2021. This program is a fast paced, hands-on learning experience where I have learnt rapid-prototyping using a lot of different tools, machines and softwares for digital fabrication purposes.

You will find here a presentation of myself, all the work that I have done during the FabAcademy program, and also other realizations that I have made since then.

For my final project to complete the Fab Academy program I have decided to work on a Puzzle Box (also called a “Secret Box” or a “Trick Box”). The idea is to manage opening the box as fast as possible by resolving a series of puzzles, and is thus purely for entertainment purposes. Technically this game can be solved by a single person, but it is more fun to tackle it as a team of friends or family, especially as collaboration is often key for success.

Herebelow is presented a short video that summarize all the work I have done during this FabAcademy program to design and produce my puzzle box.

Note : I know that the video sequences are going pretty fast, but this 1 minute video was meant to be presented to all my fellow students and the teaching staff. A lot more detail can be found throughout the various sections of this website.

Digital Projects

Since I completed my FabAcademy training in 2021, it seems to me that I can indeed “Make Almost Anything”. It is definitely sure that I will continue using digital fabrication for the rest of my life !

Handicrafts

Although digital fabrication is awesome, it is not always the solution to every project. Also I definitely have a strong interest for manual work, and particularly like to work with wood.
