Final Project Business Plan

My project is only one part of a plan. I don’t think there’s a market for the track on it’s own so I wouldn’t bother trying to sell it. The complete form of this project has the track as well as a set of kits to build cars to race on the track. The track can be big, complicated, and slow to manufacture as long as it is durable and reusable. I plan to offer the plans for the track under the creative commons license Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International. I want others to be able to build their own tracks and variants as long as they’re sharing their version for everyone to learn from. I still have to develop the car kits. Those will likely be released under the same license but I haven’t decided yet. I also plan to run events with the track and the kits. That’s where I can produce kits and offer them along with customize and race events. This isn’t a big market but it’s a fun thing with enough variation in the track and car kits would allow me to host a series of events for all ages and abilities.
