Guitar Amp with Soundpads and Bluetooth
Drum and guitar amp or Dramp. When I googled the word dramp I found out that it means "something that is unfortunate or displeasing", we'll see.... For my Final Project my plan is to build a practice guitar amp with sound pads. With a simple app one can send sounds via bluetooth to the soundpads were they are stored. The soundpads have loop function so it's possible to play a drum rythm or a sequence of chords f.ex. that then loop while you jam away on your guitar. Another function is recording what is played to a phone via bluetooth, so there will be a mic in the amp. The amp will probably have two speakers, one 10 inch speaker for guitar and one 3 inch full range speaker for the soundpad and playbacks.
Research
There are endless schematics for small guitar amps on the web that I can base my amp on. I plan to build a solid state amp with volume and gain control, max 20w output and a 10 inch speaker in a wood cebernet.
I havent started looking into the soundpads so far but I know there are all kinds of pads out there with storage and loop options.I have been researching Arduino mini computers and soundboards like Adafruit Adio FX a little bit and look forward looking more into that.
I want to make a simple app that can send sounds, that one downloads from the web, to the soundpads with bluetooth. There are endless libraries of sounds on the web and then one can as well record sounds from other instruments and use. The plan is to have a recorder in tha app as well so it's possible to record what you are playing, that is both sounds from the soundpad and the guitar. Since the amp has a small full range speaker it could also be possible to play music from your phone via bluetooth, i.e. bluetooth speaker.
