In this week we are required to answer some questions related to our final project.
1.what tasks have been completed, and what tasks remain?
At this point I’m done with the table itself and the heater. The circuit board is ready at this point as well.
What is remaining is material that covers the heater. Also I’m still working on the programming part which is the hardest part yet in my opinion. I’m also yet to finalize the electronic box & the wires.
2.what’s working & what’s not working?
Until this point what’s working is the heater, potentiometer and the L2C screen. On the other hand, the NTC sensor shows an error value so it’s not ready as of yet. I’ll to find out the reason behind this problem.
3.what questions need to be resolved?
Why the NTC sensor gives me a wrong value?
How can I cover the heater?
4.what will happen when?
I’m trying to find a way to cover the heater without affecting the design of the table and to make it suitable and adjustable. I’m also trying to fix the NTC sensor problem as soon as possible since the deadline is few days from now.
5.what have you learned?
certain that by now I’m an expert in using the ShopBot machine since I faced many problems when I used it at the beginning but at the moment I feel that I’m confident when I use it & I know most of the tricks when it comes to using it.
I learned more about the design and how to make a design in a better way. My knowledge was very general but now I know more things about the 3D design.
I learned more about Arduino, circuits board & how to program them because I didn’t have any background in this field but this Diploma taught me a lot of new things that I never knew I would’ve learned.
