In this week we are required to come up with a dissemination plan for our Final project.
I searched the internet for some information to help me come up with such plan and I’m going to list down what I come up with.
My project is represented by a food table that is supported by a heat element in a specific location which can be used to heat anything that is placed over it. This idea came to my mind because now a days most people spend most of their dining times capturing their food. Ideally speaking it is not a good habit but this is the trend now a days and they get satisfaction from doing so. After they’re done taking photos they’ll realize that there food became cold and it’s taste has changed depending on the type of food. Saying so, I decided to design this table to ensure that the food remains hot & warm which will keep the person satisfied at all times. Also this food table can be a cooking table. people can cooked whatever they want on it.
This table is designed in a way to ensure that it is suitable for everyone in general but if we wanted to be more specific then this table is made for the foodies who just love to share their meal on social medias and take a long time to do so. It can be also used by people who love to eat more than one dish at once which in turn will make the second dish in turn be cold so they might either try to eat them at once on sacrifice one dish at the price of the other. This table will make it easier for these type of people to enjoy their meals at their own pace without having to worry about their food getting cold. This table might also be sold by furniture companies since they can promote it with this feature which might attract some people and consider getting one as soon as possible to try it out themselves. It can also be used by hotels when they send food to their guests rooms and it will ensure that the food is fresh and hot.
Which method should I use to deliver my product to the end users? I will post it on my social media accounts such as twitter, snapchat, instagram and Youtube since everything now a days can be promoted on social media.
How will I know if my project was successful according to some preset criteria’s and how will I invovle the end user in evaluating the dissemination activities? First of all the success of any project depends on whether the project serves it’s purpose as was intended or not which can be assessed by using the product myself and seing its results. Then comes other factors that might determine whether this project was successful or not such as: The acceptance of people to the project’s idea and will they consider to get it if they see it anywhere, How easy is it to deal with, and finally will it solve the issue or not?
For my project, I prefer an open source license, to give an opportunity to share the knowledge I gained, and open a path for further developments.
