L.O. (Learning Objectives) Week 2:¶ ¶ • Evaluate and select 2D and 3D software • Model (raster, vector, 2D, 3D, render, animate, simulate, ...) a possible final project, compress your images and videos, and post it on your class page • Demonstrate and describe processes used in modelling with 2D and 3D software 2.0. Notes during the class and workshops:FABLAB¶ Class Note 2.1. Model experimental objects/part of a possible project in 2D and 3D software:¶ 3D Design: I made an elf crown that could be possibly used in my final project. I used "Fusion 360" software for this 3d design process. 2D Design: I made an propeller. I used "Adobe illustrator" software for this 2d design process. 2.2. Demonstrate and describe processes used in modelling with 2D and 3D software:¶ 3D Design_Elf Crown_Fusion 360: 1. Opened Fusion 360. 2. Drew curvy lines. 3. Used the "Mirror" tool to duplicate the original shape but in 180 degrees rotation (Same as "reflection" in math). 4. Created a shpere. 5. Extruded the original curvy/wavy lines with its origin on this sphere. 6. Mirrored at this stage, to make the complete crown both on the front and the back sides. 7. Hid the sphere because it is only used for the extrude and reflect/mirror functions. 8. Saved the file. 2D Design_Propeller_Illustrator: 1. Opened Illustrator. 2. Drew a curve using the pen tools. 3. Drew circles using the shape tools. 4. Change the color into magenta by using this panel: 2.3. Included your original design files:¶ 3D Design in Kicad: f3d 2D Design in Illustrator: ia
