What task have been completed and what task remaining?

Completed task

What has worked? What hasn't?

Microcontroller board, motor driver and all other pcb boards are working perfect. Base of robot is also fixed well.
3D printed small wheels are made of flexible material so it has good grip but They are little big in width. So i am rubing the big wheel with file so small wheel can be fitted correctly.

What questions need to be resolved?

• How to driver Omni wheel. Should i use X configuration or + configuration
• Which 3D printing material is more flexibile and have better grip on floor. (I am trying nylon, PLA and TPU 95A). After exterimenting i found TPU 95A is perfect for my task
• Where to place battery and circuitry in the Robot

What will happen when?

Most of my final project work is done. I have planned weeks in this way that my weekly assignment should cover portion of my final project. However, Due to Covid-19 pendeamic our lab was closed for some time and few things are remeaning.

• Design of Base of robot is ready. It take me around 30 mints to laser cut. Next week probably we get the partial access of lab to complete the task
• Need 1 hour to assemble the base of robot
• Need 45 mints for wiring whole robot.
• Need around 2.5 hours for 3D printing of ESP32-cam holder. This will also be done in next week when i get partial access of lab
• Final project poster is remeaning. I need 2 to 3 hours to make it.
• Final project video is remeaning. This will be done after completing my final project. I need 3 to 4 hours to record it and then edit it.

what have you learned?

As a Electrical- Electronics engineer i have some basic know how of electronics part but there were few things which are completely new to me like web desining, wood work, composite. I have learned so many new thing

• PCB desinging and milling(I knew pcb desinging and milling before but this diploma pushed me to next level in this skill)
• Enhanced my skill of 2D and 3D desinging
• 3D printing and Laser cutting
• Working on SHOPboat. I learned a lot. I had no experience of shopboat and woodwork but now i have learned so much about it
• It was fun to learn the vinyl cutting and creating own stikers
• Web development. Previously i had no experience of web development but now i am able use bootstraping as well
• Mobile app development.
