Electronics Design

Hi?..this is week 6 and we`re basically dealing with electronics design which comprises of designing various printed circuit boards and integrated circuits from scratch.. In WEEK 4, we designed and fabricated a FabISP Programmer whose functionality works in line with Arduino Micro-controller while in this week we`ll be working on a pretty simple board which ultimately will enact the functions of our previous Programmer and in later tasks..

  • I`m required to redraw the hello world board with in schematic and proceed into editing by adding an LED and a Button to the board..and program it with several Languages if possible simulate its operation.

  • The various components and their sources are as recommended below:
    
components ,  wire ,  button ,  resistor: I=V/R..,capacitor: C = Q/V, I = C dV/dt  , unpolarized ,  polarized ,  crystal, resonator 
    ,
   
    mosfet: source, drain, gate resistance  battery, regulator, op-amp: differential gain, negative feedback... ,microcontroller ,sensors actuators.
    

  • Also various Circuits areas were touched upon including: Component placing, routing, simulation, fabrication, drafting tape, design rules, schematic entries, Parametric drawing, footprints, component libraries/datasheets, EDA hierachical etc..
    

  • Extensive tools for editing, creating, modifying or altering circuits in any form were covered in great details... some of the covered included:

Personally I chose Eagle(EasilY Applicable Graphical Layout Editor) which truly lives upto its name...The original Hello Board to be edited and redrawn was given together with the necessary components..
