Week 3
This week I designed CAD model of my future product.
I used to work in Autodesk Autocad, Autodesk Fusion 360, Autodesk Tinkercad and Autodesk’s ecosystem is very powerful and complete, but I had the most experience in SolidWorks tools.
Eventually I’ve made a sketch in SolidWorks and build 3D model based on this sketch. After design finishing I saved it to STL file and uploaded the file to Sketchfab (see result below).

The model consists of two parts - the main body and the cover. I have reinforced the case with additional stiffening ribs and added holes for fixing the cover. All the resulting files are attached below:

3D Model
After I had finished creating the model, I decided to find a way to share the model online, and the SketchFab service was a very convenient way. Below should be the window with my model loaded right in the browser!
