Finally i decided to continue with my project idea.
Architectural glass solar shades that provide optimized daylight control and energy control.Dynamic facades are installed in fixed or variable positions for adjustable shading to ensure maximum comfort and energy efficiency. They also provide an attractive architectural envelope for a wide variety of construction
Lots of studies are ongoing in this field of Architecture.Many buildings outside india has already been using this for proper building conditions.
Effective sun protection is a need for space to live and work. If neither can the spaces despite ventilation could overheat in a very unpleasant time.
The sun protection should ensure:
a) Shading during the day
b) Free entrance to the last light of day
c) Cool environment in summer economy air
d) Economy heating in winter
e) The solar protection applied externally to stop back in 60 to 80% of solar radiation in front of the glass.
I am designing the facade unit, which includes it's body, machanisms and electronics. The circuit board has to designed to fit in the frame. The mechanism should be designed for easy movement for rotation.
i am thinking to do a demo dynamic facade.A scaled model of the building elevation.
The entire body and mechanisms can be made in the fab lab itself. Also have i will make an enclosure to accomodate all electronics components from lab itself.

3D Printing: To make the connections between the mechanical parts.

PCB designing: To make the controllers and sensors
Vinyl Cutter:For making stickers for enhancing.
sandblasting: For creating designs on the glass facade.
How to control the Facade using a Smartphone?
The WiFi module in the controller circuit board enable the user to manually controll the Facade with a help of an app.
How does the light sensoring works?
The unit have 2 photo sensors which helps to detect the amount of sunlight and decide the degree of rotation.
How does the rotations are controlled?
The rotations are controlled using a servo motor.It helps to control 180 degree of rotation.
how many servos are planned to use in this project?
I am planning to use a single servo motor powered by external power.
