The purpose of this installation is to develop an interaction between the user and the object despite being one of them inanimate. All this project and its conception is born from the idea of the impossibility of representing a relationship with an inert object and the solution of its immaterial representation. How to bury poetry if it does not exist and is only digital? How to make the spectator user know in situ the entrails of an object without being able to access it? This pantheon will generate a small wifi signal that will only contain some digital poems, so that if a visitor decides to use their mobile phone near the cemetery, they can access some of the contents and see how the pantheon is related to it. The piece should be printed in concrete and its real size and say about 3 meters high and as many in width in a possible envelope of its geometry. Given the dimensions of the piece and the challenge of its construction, we will simulate the pantheon with a piece of sufficient size capable of being self-sufficient energetically generating enough Wi-Fi signal and interacting with users in the same way as the real pantheon.
Mandatory conditions and contents Create your own integrated design : of course it is done as I shown before in many other assignments Demonstrate 2D & 3D modelling capabilities applied to your own designs: the design is a vectorial mesh. Has been modeled as a complementary result of Boolean operations with different volumes to obtain different lights and space variations. The design will include too some modifications related to structural behavior related to concrete building. in the scenario of the pantheon being built in real size, I will include all this modifications. In the scenario of a substitutive scale model with all functions , it will be very similar to the model I show in assignements before Select and apply appropriate additive and subtractive techniques : the final model will be printed in 3d, in a real or scale model, it will be printed in concrete or plastic, so it is additive . some of the pieces inside will be made with different substractive and cutting methods as boxes, supports … etc Demonstrate competence in design, fabrication and programming of your own fabbed microcontroller PCB, including an input & output device : the idea is to design and fabricate a fabduino to complete the mandatory requirements and afterwords complete the works with a wifi or bluetooth module.
in this case the examples of generation of reduced wifi signals where there is no general one are innumerable. It is not an example of particular cases to quote. On the other hand its resolution is very varied: from the recycling of an old router to any small commercial solution for the generation of wifi signal. the electronic components of this type of boards are complex, and their communication protocols much more. In my opinion it is unnecessary to retrace a complex path, available only to specialists, also without understanding it as it has happened on other occasions, being already resolved in a simple and cheap way. The most interesting part of the work, its construction, is not something new to look for examples.the additive construction in concrete is still incipient, but already has some companies that develop this activity.

This work should be evaluated above all in the conceptual solution of person object relationship, and in the ability to interact with non-visible contents that you know belong to an object as part of it. This solution is a result of reflections about the person and the object, and the result is only one of the possible ones. what is measurable is the proximity to the understanding of that relationship and the efficiency with which it is described in this installation, until it becomes explicit in front of the pantheon - object in the most instrumental character of fabacademy should perhaps be evaluated in compliance with the requirements, provided that these are explicit and definitive, and not modifiable throughout the development of the work, please.
