We chose this project when we discussed the possibility of enabling the requirements within the projects implemented in the Talents Com pany in a practical way. Then I proposed the project which I was previously asked to implement using Inkscape program and the laser cutter by Yousef for one of the workshops we presented in School project. Then we agreed to implement it again but this time must be in a manner that meets all the requirements of the assignments. The project aims to design a production line by sorting the boxes using a color sensor.
First of all, each of us to draw in principle and implement some parts through which we reach the final design and the implementation started. Viewing several ideas that may contribute to the development of the idea so that we can modeling our project.
I set up some drawings and measurements that helped me a lot in implementing the model
In order to be able to implement it properly I needed a full conceptual drawing of the model
Then I divided them into small parts and imposed measurements so that I could draw them later using Onshape
The measurements for the bushing part that I'm going to use instead for bearing
I took the measurements for all the materials that I will use later so I do not have to re-work when connecting to each of these materials
The application of the calculations that I have prepared previously is easy for drawing the form with all its applications
I have previously planned that most parts can be implemented either by using the 3D printer or Laser cutter
I started implementing both sides which will be installed in the bushing as well as the proven proponents of the two faces
Then I designed the cylindrical shape that I would use to install the belt
I was confused about the installation of color sensor whether it would be at the beginning of the production line or at the end. I consulted Yousef and told me to be directly after the first part of the design in the production line
Then the last part which will split the boxes after they recognize them by the color sensor
I printed most of the parts using the 3D printer as well as a small part using the laser cutter
After that matched the design model has been performing as expected in conformity with what I designed
for the matching the parts I did use screws 3mm
When I installed the servo I was surprised that it was accurate
Onshape if you would like to check it out
