After some conversation and research we chose to built an automatic 3D Scanner Machine. You can find the page for our machine here.
Individual part¶
First Tests / Enclosure Design¶
After we developed the mechanical parts we started do develop the electronics. My contribution was mainly in the first tests and calibrating the machine.
We used Pronterface’s PrintRun as a G-Code sender for testing and calibrating.
After this I designed the enclosure box for all the electronics:
I designed it very quickly with the help of the Boxes.py scripts and then just customized a little in AutoCad:
