In this week and the week about Machine Design we design, build and motorize a Computer Numeric Control 3 axis machine, with 2 more axes on the placement surface. Although the machine was not finished, the 3 axis mechanisms work as per this assignment's requirements: no automation.
I have contributed to mechanical design in: expressing ideas for construction, sanding the cut pieces, working the sliders for smooth center box movement, shopping for parts, soldering cables and general assembly. But my main contribution was on the software stack to control the motors and the git repository for team collaboration.
