Hello, my name is Ileana. I'm a mexican architect. Years ago, I went to live for three years in Barcelona to develop the doctoral thesis entitled "Strategies for sustainable urban systems: introducing eco-innovation in buildings in Mexico and Spain". In Barcelona I discovered the IAAC and FabLab Barcelona. I am co-founder of Fab Lab Yucatan and I'm very happy to be part of FabAcademy My greatest inspiration - My little FabKid
I am from Caracas, Venezuela. Architect and professor of the Universidad Central de Venezuela (UCV). My passion is community development and participatory processes. I mixed different scales of project as object, building, city into the social dimension. I am cofounder of the InSitu Foundation, which is focussed on working in the field back to back with the people. I also created the academic atelier Transgresiones Urbano Arqutectónicas (TUA) that integrates the dayly urban transgressions into the definition of city and architectural projects.
