PROPOSING THE SCOPE OF MY FINAL PROJECT
Nowadays technology advances in an uncontrolled way, all the systems of daily life have benefited from it in all aspects, if we focus on the services to the consumer that a supermarket can have, we will identify that the collection boxes have not suffered technological changes that can benefit the client, for this reason with the project develop will attack this need, "need for comfort to the consumer when he wants to pay for his purchases".
The scope of "development of this project" will be related to the competencies that have been acquired in the program, so it is defined that in this project will be carried out the design activities of the prototype that includes the technologies: 3D design and printing, cutting and engraving laser and vinyl, CNC machining, foundries and molds, electronic design, electronic manufacturing, development of visual interfaces, connectivity with databases.
Within the scope of the "operation of the project", the system will consist of:
1. Reading of products through tags, where the products that pass through the reader will be identified.
2. Electronic system that will link the reading of the tags to an app, through bluetooth communication.
3. Query products to a database hosted in PHPmyAdmin, which will yield data such as product type, name and cost.
4. Generation of a consolidated invoice for the products generated in the smart device application.

The system consists of a shopping cart for supermarkets, which has adapted a product identification system through an RFID system, this system is subject to an electronic development board with a visual interface that allows to know the elements that have been selected, an App is also developed that will consolidate the scanned elements by proforma, which will be identified from a database where the item type, price and weight will be stored and will manage the payment of the service.
Months ago in Japan, have fabricated an autonomus system that collect the payments, however there is no similarity since the collection stands are linked with a physically payment network, in the system that I will develop, you simply need a mobile application and the Embedded system to perform the scanning of the items to be charged, the identification of the products and the payment link.

The project starts from the need to make payments in supermarkets in an agile and smooth way, in a personalized way according to the quantity and type of products that the consumer requires. In addition, it will avoid the stress of the consumer when making the respective payment.

Initially it is important to develop the structure of the car that will carry all the systems. We start with the machining of the parts in the CNC, in this case we will work with MDF of dimensions 1200x2400 and a thickness of 15mm for the cutting of the longitudinal and transversal elements.
After the activity of the acrylic cut of the front and back of the basket and the complement of the sponsors in vinyl that will be glued on the front. Additionally, the structure that will contain the system in laser cutting is performed.

I think one of the important points to consider should be innovation and creativity when creating a project, the impact it can have within its environment and the advantages it would bring, in this case focused on supermarkets.
Another point that could be taken into account for the evaluation is to demonstrate the ability to create almost anything through digital manufacturing activities that have been carried out throughout the program and that has been reflected in the final project.
Finally, the scalability of the project, it is important that the project is not in an initial version but it can be constantly improved, according to the discovery of new technologies and materials that can be used.
