week14:Mechanical Design

- design a machine that includes mechanism+actuation+automation
- build the mechanical parts and operate it manually
- document the group project and your individual contribution
This week assignment is explaining only my individual contribution.
Group assingment is on Fablab Seoul Machine week
Mechanical
We decided to make vending machine for our machine week.
So first time we should decide the size and the outfit.
Jinhyuck and I designed and made prototype.
Most of my contribution is desinging outfit and machine part and assembling them.
Prototype
We made prototype.
From this design, we should compensate some parts for machine fuction, I mean for stability.
This is stading parts for machine.
We used stepper motor so it is likely to be shaken.
So that's why I designed.
(But later it was not used...because we just changed the material instead of making standing parts.)
Machine parts for prototype was made of woods.
So we should change the material.
And also for stability we needed new design.
So I designed.
And Seounghee designed this parts more.
We followed up her work to finish design and made machine parts.

Mechanical parts.
Disassemble
For making our machine, we should disassemble other old machine(not working) in Fablab Seoul.
Eunice, Jinhyuk and I disassembled the machine.
(I took the photo so I'm not on the picture but I did together)
