Final project description

Home security system: for my final project I decided to make a security system for homes. In 2014 we have been robed and they took most of the valuable item we hade in our home. Since then I have tried to make some security system from tutorial I saw on the internet, but they didn't work well cause I didn't have enough skills from then I postpone that project. But now I fill confident enough to start working and I believe skills I will get in FabAcademy will help me to accomplish that.

The Home Security System I want to make it for protecting against intruders and thieves.

This is a list of device I plan to make for that security system:

• Motion sensing device,
• Door/Window open & close detector,
• Glass break detector,
• Gateway device.

Motion sensing device

One of the main thing in security system is motion tracking. Motion tracking can help in notifying you if someone enters in a restricted/private area.

Door/Window open & close detector

Sometime we can forget to close our window or doors and thieves can use it to get in your home. This device will help in reminding people to close their doors/window in case they forget, to maximise security by raising awareness on small things people don't care much about.

Glass break detector

People may try to break into your home by breaking you window/door glasses. This device will help in detecting any such incident that takes place.

Gateway device

All devices described above they collect datas and the user needs them for making decision. The Gateway is for sending all collected data to the internet where the user will get them.
