What will it do? Well what I want to do is the Filament Recycler. I mean a system. The whole system schould be able to shredder some plastic to a small parts. Then there should be an extruder part, that contains a heater, that should melt shreddered plastic. The 3rd part of the system should roll the extruded filament. Who's done what beforehand? Well the best example that I have found is the example of "precious plastic". They have made a a shredder and the filamentextruder. What will you design? For this project I have to design several thing, first is shredder frame that should hold the shreddermotor with the blades. I also need to desig the input part of ther shredder. The second thing is the filament extruder, I need again to design a frame for it an to fit all the needed components together. The last thing is roller to roll the filament together. What materials and components will be used? Well I have found a shredder part from the paper shredder wi the worling motor, we have also made a test, you can see in the video below. Than I am planning to use Nema 19 for the filame Extruder and Nema 17 for the roller part. Futhermore will use 10k Thermistor for the rep pap printers to measure the temperature, at least 3 coil heaters and 2 Satshakit boards, one of them I have already made one for the extruder part with 10k res fot the Thermistor. Where will the parts come from? As I told before, I have found the shredder part. The other parts are avilable in the lab. How much will they cost? I don't know the cost of the shredder by now, so I am not able to say it at this point of time. What processes will be used? In my project I am planning to use Laser Cutter, 3d Printeer, CNC(big and saml machines). What questions need to be answerded? Well the first question is, how far can the shredder that I have found can be used. How it will be evaluated? Well I want to make a system that works and that can be used in the future in our lab.
